Mick Ridesdale – Testimony to Hankook RF10 Tyres

Before heading off on his adventure, Mick fitted Hankook RF10’s to his landcruiser troop carrier.  He also had new shocks, air lock lines and air lockers fitted to the vehicle.  Mick towed an off road camper trailer.

The trip he did consisted of 520km of extreme varied terrain.  In the process of this trip, Mick’s air lockers were torn off, the spare for the camper trailer loosened and fell off causing damage to the trailer.  The extreme terrain caused the mudflaps to be torn off the vehicle, heavy damage to the bottom sill panels of the vehicle as well as to the shock absorbers that were replaced before he left.

Mick was so impressed with his Hankook RF10’s, which received no damage from the hash terrain, that he returned to show us the condition of the tyres, which looked like they had been fitted yesterday, in comparison with the rest of the car.

"After discussing our typical driving conditions with the staff of Tyres Galore,
Morayfield, 2 sets of Hankook DYNAPRO ATMs were fitted to our company 4WD
Tritons. The driving consisted of a combination of highway, suburban, dirt, sand and
rural back roads. The vehicles are also subjected to off road construction,
subdivisional and remote site locations.

On road, the first noticeable thing was how quiet and smooth the ride was compared
to previous competitors A/T tyres and original tyres. One vehicle has travelled approx
30,000 kms and the other 12,000 kms trouble free. The tyres offer excellent grip off
road and to date have not suffered any sidewall damage to staking and punctures as
previous competitors tyres have

a good all round tyre.
